Below is a image of the Hardiness Zone Map for the Southeastern United States that will assist you during your evaluation of various trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals considered for use in your landscape gardens.

Our experience is that upper East TN received a variable of weather conditions with our primary zone rating being Zone 6 with variable colder conditions that can sometimes depict one 5 conditions.

We advice caution with Zone 7 plant material, but select variables can manage the use of Zone 7 plant material.
