These
proven varieties,

Firepower Dwarf Nandina
Nandina domestica 'Firepower'
One of the most popular shrub
categories sought out today by homeowners attracted to
it's ease of growth, durability, and it's awesome
seasonal red foliage shown off from fall thru mid
spring. Fall seasonal growth is replaced by multi
colored green & marbled reddish growth thoughout the
growing season turning again to a brilliant ball of red
in the fall season. Maintain from 12"- 24" tall by 24"
-30" wide. Produces best color and compact growth in
full sun exposures. Less to now red foliar color is
produced in shadier locations.
Forest Pansy Redbud
Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy'
This hybridized variety of the native
Redbud tree produces a vase like spreading growth habit
on a tree reaching 15-18' tall & wide. Along with it's
early spring rosey pink colored flowers, this
tree's unique feature is it's deep maroon foliage
produced
in spring producing a striking colorful foliage tree
that's eye catching in the landscape. Being a little
sensitive to branch breakage, we suggest keeping this
tree out of high wind exposure areas.
Gold Tide Forsythia
Forsythia 'Gold Tide'
With brilliant yellow blooms on graceful
arching branches, this the perfect shrub to break out of
winter. More compact than most Forsythia, it grows from
one and a half to three feet tall and four to six feet
wide, making it a great groundcover on banks. Growing
in full sun to partial shade, mass plantings will
produce an ocean of gold that announces the coming of
spring like nothing else!
Bridal Wreath Spirea
Spiraea Vanhouttei
This old fashion flowering shrubs is one of spring's
early arrivals in the garden. It's graceful arching
branches display delicate white flowers along the top
surface of it's branches displaying a weeping affect to
it's growth shape unless sheared more compact.
A great addition to border plantings and is great for
group plantings or contrasted against deep green
evergreens within the landscape.
Primrose primula
The sweet rosette of large blooms on
these tender perennials is a beautiful addition to your
pre-spring planting. Available in reds, blues, white
and soft pastels, primrose respond especially well
during these still-cool months, and can be planted in
pots or window boxes for a lovely and “mobile” effect!
Also, try using these as great accents to the perennial
garden borders for color low accents.
Creeping Phlox Phlox
subulata

A
rapidly spreading perennial, Creeping Phlox grows to no
more than 6 inches in height. The foliage is soft,
needle-like, and remains lush spring through fall. The
flowers emerge in April and May and are quite brilliant.
This plant looks great growing over rocks. Creeping
Phlox likes full sun and is very easy to grow making it
a easy and colorful early spring addition to the garden.
Autumn Brillance Serviceberry
Amelanchier x grandiflora 'Autumn
Brillance'
A
unique small flowering tree producing white flowers in
early spring on an upright vase like growth habit. Most
commonly grown in clump form, but sometimes acquirable
in single trunk growth patterns. Awesome bright red
orange leaf color and red fruit loved by birds are shown
off in the fall season.
Serviceberry trees grow 15-25' tall and are considered
an easy native to grow in the landscape. Prefers part
sun to shade exposures. Spring flowers, fall fruiting,
and fall leaf color are combined features that you
simply can't miss out on.
