Our annual spring Berry Festival will be going
on this weekend, so this is a perfect time to
show you what your berry-growing options are and
how to get started. You name it - grapes,
blueberries, raspberries, strawberries,
gooseberries and lots more - can be grown
successfully in our area. It is crucial,
however, to know the correct steps to take to
begin, and that is just what you will learn at
this free seminar. Every attendee will receive a
free 40 pound bag of Daddy Pete's Soil

Growing vegetables is easy once you get the hang

lifetime of beauty. At this free seminar,
EVERYTHING about perennials will be discussed -
choosing them, mixing them, growing them,
tending them - you name it! Our own on-staff
perennial experts - Sheila, Dan and Ginger -
will be joined by special guest Larry Newlin
from Riverbend Nursery to show you how to become
a perennial expert yourself.

- The Wonder of Water Gardening
This free seminar is crafted to offer great tips
on care and maintenance for those of you who
already have a water garden, AND to address the
questions of those who are thinking about
getting started on a water garden. We will go
from installation to upkeep, with a special
emphasis on avoiding "green" water, and keeping
your garden's water sparkling clear.

- Weeds Be Gone!
There's nothing like a rash of weeds to ruin the
effect of an otherwise lovely yard or garden!
While we will touch on how to address the weeds
already present in these areas, the main
emphasis here will be on weed prevention so that
you can stop the spray-and-pull cycle in the
